Captain Peter has his Masters Captain license through the United States Coast Guard.

In addition to being a water enthusiast, he is an avid racquetball player and also enjoys downhill skiing, biking and an occasional round of golf.

Growing up on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota, Peter developed a deep love for boating early in life. Now a proud, full-time Floridian, he brings decades of experience in both sali and motor boating throughout many parts of the world.

His world-class experiences include:

  • Fishing in remote destinations including: Canada, Alaska, Costa Rica, Micronesia, Europe, the Caribbean, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea

  • PADI-certified SCUBA diver, with both day and night dive experience

  • Skill in leading backwater adventures around Sanibel and Captiva.

When he’s not guiding guests, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife, Barb, their children grandchildren, and a great circle of friends.

“My motto for life, " says Peter, "is to live each day as if it's your last, and enjoy every minute of the ride. And, if things ever get too intense, have a salad, eat a peach and strike a smile.”
